Kneehill County (hereinafter referred to as "the County") invites proposals from qualified accounting firms to provide external audit services to the municipality. The County issues this Request for Proposal (RFP) to solicit proposals for External Auditing Services for an initial three (3) fiscal years starting with the fiscal year ending December 31, 2024, with the option to renew for an additional two (2) years, as detailed later in this RFP. The County periodically solicits proposals for external audit services approximately every five years as part of our commitment to best governance and fiscal responsibility practices. This RFP demonstrates the County’s proactive approach to maintaining transparency and ensuring accountability in financial oversight. |

For the Request for Proposal (RFP-2024-1271-EA01), Kneehill County publicly invited proposals for external auditing services for a three- (3) year contract with the possibility of fourth—and fifth-year contract extensions.
Kneehill County received, reviewed and evaluated the submissions. We received submissions from three (3) auditing firms. Kneehill County has awarded the contract to MNP LLP as they were the highest-scoring compliant bid for the three-year term.
