The Kneehill County Regional Parks & Recreation Needs Assessment is a community-centred initiative aimed at evaluating the availability, accessibility, and future needs of parks and recreation facilities across the region. This project will focus on enhancing local recreation for residents, strengthening community engagement, and fostering rural and agricultural heritage, while acknowledging the impacts and opportunities of seasonal visitors on recreation spaces.

SERVICE: Parks and Rec Needs Assessment 

To whom it may concern,

For the Request for Proposal, RFP-2025-6290-NA01, Kneehill County publicly invited proposals to provide consulting services for a Parks and Recreation Needs Assessment for Kneehill County. 

Kneehill County received, reviewed, and evaluated the submissions. We received submissions from six (6) contractors. All the submissions were found to be compliant, with one submission being over budget.  Ballad Consulting Group, which has been awarded the contract, was found to be the highest scoring submission and the lowest quote.
