Kneehill County is inviting proposals from an experienced and qualified company to renovate the Kneehill County Three Hills Transfer Site. This work will include replacing the existing exterior wall and roof cladding, supplying and installing man and vehicle doors, and supplying and installing various lights and electrical systems. Under the contract, the desired date for completion of the reconstruction is no later than September 1, 2025. These specifications cover only the significant details of the project. All work must meet or exceed existing building codes within Kneehill County and the Province of Alberta. The contractor should have an experienced team of technical staff to complete the assignment and demonstrate suitable knowledge and experience in renovations and installing electrical devices. |

Kneehill County issued RFP-2025-4205-THBP01 for the renovation of an outbuilding at the Three Hills Transfer Site. Despite receiving two compliant submissions, all proposals exceeded the approved budget.
As a result, Kneehill County has elected to cancel the project due to financial constraints.
